Building a new Alpiq together

The name says it all. Insieme means «together». The Executive Board launched the Insieme integration project on 1 February 2009 in order to effectively combine the strengths of Atel and EOS. Over the eleven months up to the end of 2009, Alpiq›s operating structure was shaped within the framework of this project. The main elements were the new organisation, the revised business model, a changed role for the Corporate Centre, and the implementation of the first new processes.

Employees rapidly identified with the new Alpiq, joining forces across old Atel and EOS boundaries to engage in the discussion on structuring the new company.
